Today was a lovely relaxing day full of smiling faces :-)
Edwin was awake at 5am and Paul desperately tried to get him to go back to sleep. No surprise, we could NOT get him to fall asleep again. So at 6:15am we woke the entire family to look what Santa Clause brought.
We opened presents and, of course, the kids had to eat some of the sweets in the socks before breakfast. Megan, Edwin and Daniel all got IPODs which made all of the adults extremely jealous!! We also want...
Mmmm, I got a massive cow from the kids (now why would a cow make the kids think of me?!?) Moo got its place on the bed next to Beertjie, so I'm not sure where Paul is going to sleep tonight :-)
It was a lovely morning and then we sat down for raclette lunch.
Thank you Dennis, Lalie, Chanel and Mark for the wonderful presents sent all the way from South Africa. It is much appreciated and we really wish you could have spent the festive season here in Dubai with us!!
