Trip to Barracuda

Today we were in the mood to go and explore some of our neighboring Emirates, so we decided to go to Barracuda Beach Resort in Umm Al Quwain. 


So of we go all excited =D   Camera packed but .... OOPS, we forgot the memory card :( Thank Goodness for the BlackBerry cameras. We started our 1 hour drive and on the way we saw ...

Aren't we supposed to go to a beach resort?  Were is the beach then???

Mmmmmm...... and then finally, we saw it, the beach. :").

Not long after we finally reached Barracuda Beach Resort,

When we arrived at the resort we were nice and hungry so we went up to Panino Restaurant to get something to eat. We all ordered the pasta which a very, very tasty considering it was a small coffee shop.

Finally our food came and it was absolutely delicious and just enough to fill  our tummies!!! 

After lunch we went to explore the resort a little bit more. So we saw the beach and it looks lovely.

After exploring we set off on our journey back home. On the way back we took a scenic route

Wishing we had a 4x4 to go dune bashing

Guess what? He got bored and ended up playing a few games :-)

It was an amazing, fun and a real relaxing day and as always the car was full of laughter.  We saw 3 of the 7 Emirates also today as it is part of the drive to Barracuda, Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain. All of them have their own unique character and even the colour of the sand is different from Emirate to Emirate.

We now looking forward to venture further North to see the most Northern Emirate, Ras Al Khaimah, so watch this space.
