All the statues and decorations were very impressive but it is really sad that the area around the temple is not that well maintained. The shops are also very expensive compared to the rest of the island.
We decided to drive back to Bophut Fisherman's Village to have lunch at the Happy Elephant.
One of the best meals we had on the island :-)

Every Sunday from 3 - 11 pm Lamai Beach hosts a night market. You can find a huge variety of food, toys, ornaments and cocktails on sale. As usual, all of us enjoyed stopping at the stalls to taste the different food on offer.

We had a wonderful evening and we all were stuffed by the time we made our way home.
